About Nellie's Angels - Skylane (RCFE)

Nellie's Angels - Skylane (RCFE) in Citrus Heights, CA is a residential care facility for the elderly that fits well for seniors needing help with daily things like bathing, dressing, getting around, or remembering to take medicine, and the staff there, who act with kindness and skill, are ready to help in a calm, home-like place that feels both comfortable and clean with welcoming bedrooms and accessible bathrooms, a living room and kitchen that feel like home, and even a backyard and front porch where folks can sit and visit if the weather's nice. The staff take time to help residents with laundry, cooking, and housekeeping, and you'll also find meals cooked at home, social and recreational activities like arts and crafts, education, and games, plus access to a fitness center and a salon or barbershop on site, so people living here have chances to stay active and keep up with good grooming too, and there's a focus on keeping things safe, with safety features and a sprinkler system in the home, even in the rooms themselves, which can be two-bedroom options with kitchens or kitchenettes and washers and dryers to help life feel more normal and independent. It's got round-the-clock supervision, meaning folks get care whenever they need it, and you'll notice memory care here with special protections for people with Alzheimer's or dementia, like ways to prevent wandering and help with feeling anxious, which helps everyone feel safer. There are options for assisted and independent living, board and care home services, long-term care insurance, and even skilled nursing for short-term needs, and help with transportation if you need to get to medical visits or run errands. Nellie's Angels - Skylane works with different agencies providing specialized services-like memory care from Vaca Valley Living, supportive living with Luminous Touch, and more, so residents have care that can change with their needs as they age, and it's connected with other organizations that handle things like foster care or supportive care too, making sure there is flexibility in what's provided. Housekeeping, laundry, cooking, and help with walking or wheelchairs are available, and there's wifi, cable TV, guest parking, and activities rooms for games or gatherings, which helps make every day a little easier and more social. A care team is in place to serve Citrus Heights, Vacaville, Dixon, and nearby places, and they work with a focus on ethical practices with BBB involvement, so you'll find a welcoming, comfortable environment where folks get treated with honesty, love, and respect as they grow older.
