    About Sungarden Villa I

Sungarden Villa I is a family-owned residential assisted living community that provides specialized care for individuals aged 60 and older who are no longer able to live independently but do not require skilled nursing care. Built upon a foundation of more than 14 years of experience in elderly care, the team at Sungarden Villa I is committed to enhancing the quality of life for every resident through thoughtful, personalized total care management. The philosophy centers on treating the golden years as precious, ensuring that every day is enjoyed with comfort, dignity, and compassion.

Each resident at Sungarden Villa I benefits from a private, fully furnished bedroom and a private bathroom, designed to offer a sense of home while also ensuring privacy and convenience. Residents are encouraged to bring in their own furnishings and personal items to make the space truly their own, though essential items such as beds, nightstands, dressers, rugs, lamps, chairs or recliners, and televisions are provided. In addition to the private rooms, there are expansive indoor and outdoor common areas that residents can enjoy for relaxation or community interaction.

The experienced in-home caregivers at Sungarden Villa I are carefully selected and extensively trained, reflecting a deep commitment to the health, wellbeing, and security of each resident. Around-the-clock supervision and support are offered every day of the week. Assistance is provided with daily living activities such as dressing, eating, toileting, bathing, grooming, mobility, and transferring, with an emphasis on preserving each resident’s independence and dignity. Special care, including repositioning in bed to prevent bedsores, tray service, and sponge baths, is available for those experiencing temporary illness or recovering from surgery.

Nutritious, well-balanced meals are freshly prepared and served three times a day, with two additional snacks, and special dietary accommodations are made when prescribed by a physician. Personal hygiene is supported through the provision of general use items like soap, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and more, as well as regular housekeeping and laundry services. Resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily or as needed, and bed and bath linens are replaced regularly to uphold comfort and cleanliness.

Medication management is a key aspect of care at Sungarden Villa I. Medications are stored securely, and staff assist with the administration and self-administration of medications in accordance with state guidelines. Coordination with each resident’s primary physician and pharmacy helps ensure accuracy and consistency in medication routines, including refills and updates.

Residents are supported with scheduling and attending medical and dental appointments, with transportation arrangements available as needed. Wheelchair-accessible, non-emergency transportation can be provided, and staff are able to assist at appointment locations when requested. Confidentiality is maintained for all resident health records, and reasonable phone access is available for residents to make and receive private calls.

Sungarden Villa I values an active lifestyle, offering individualized programs of recreational activities and exercises tailored to each resident’s physical, social, and spiritual needs. Weekly schedules are based on the individualized interests and goals of the residents. The community also provides optional premium services such as medication pickup, professional grooming by visiting hairdressers or nail technicians, incontinence products, private phone lines, enhanced HD television packages, mail forwarding options, and special meal plans that cater to personal preferences outside of medical necessity.

Sungarden Villa I strives to provide a safe, nurturing environment that embraces the unique needs of every resident, combining the friendliness of a family atmosphere with the professionalism and reliability of experienced caregiving, designed to help residents age comfortably and gracefully in place.
