Autumn Hills Healthcare sits right in Glendale, California at 430 N. Glendale Ave with 99 beds for seniors who need care day and night, and the staff keeps things running smoothly whether someone needs skilled nursing, memory care, or help getting stronger after a surgery, and they'll help with bathing, dressing, or eating if you need it too, while folks who enjoy social or physical activities find choices, like birthdays that get into the local paper, and residents always have a chance to relax outside in the garden or chat in the front lobby by the goldfish aquarium and the rock fountain out front. Staff speak several languages here, including English, Spanish, Farsi, Japanese, and Tagalog, which helps families and seniors feel at home, and with a patient-to-staff ratio that supports personal attention, the people working here pay close attention to everyone's needs, whether it's for daily care, specific medical challenges, or even with a dedicated COVID unit when that's necessary, using staff called "dedicated heroes" who work there and nowhere else on a shift; plus there are always measures in place to keep residents safe from illness. Residents get chef-prepared meals that nutritionists check for quality and taste according to what the doctor orders, so nobody has to worry about whether they're eating right, and with support for mental, physical, and social needs-including rehabilitation, wound care, and pain management-there's a focus on helping people enjoy each day as much as possible. The facility stays up-to-date with modern features by making regular improvements, the grounds are gated for safety, and parking is available, and families visiting can expect a warm and welcoming setting where staff truly care about how people feel, working hard to make it easy for residents to connect with others and find comfort. Autumn Hills Healthcare runs as a non-profit and falls under Care Home and Nursing Facility categories, with a license number 920000127, and has received the Best of Senior Living All Star Award for its attention to high-quality care and strong reviews from residents and families over the years, and if folks need advice, they can talk to experts affiliated with A Place For Mom. Long-term care, assisted living, independent living, memory care, home care, respite care, and continuing care all happen here in an environment where everyone gets a plan that fits their needs, whether they require 24-hour nursing or just some help to feel their best, and anyone interested can come by for a tour, meet the people, and see how Autumn Hills Healthcare works.

Dirty neglectful care overpriced dangerous
I placed my loved one here and was shocked: rooms were dirty, smelly, cramped or shared, and there was no AC or water during extreme heat. Staff were often apathetic and inept-meals missed or terrible, clothing went missing, medications mishandled, catheters left unattended, doctor never visited, and my relative developed sepsis/stroke and later died; emergency pickup and overall attentiveness were poor. They do have PT and doctors on staff, accept insurance, and offer activities (singing, films, bingo), but it's overpriced and only a short-term option in my experience.
