    Great staff, misleading online presentation

I toured Enso Village and left with mixed impressions. The online video and marketing felt misleading and didn't match the actual facilities or clearly show which locations are part of the Village. In person the staff were wonderful - warm greeting with snacks and water, flexible with scheduling, a thorough walkthrough of mockups and financial scenarios, and no pressure or upselling. Great setting, great people, and great food, but beware the online presentation.

    About Ensō Village Preview Center

Ensō Village Preview Center gives people a look at a new kind of senior living community built with Zen-inspired design surrounded by nature, where you can find assisted living, board and care, independent living, respite care, and memory care, all within a Life Plan Community. Residents get help with daily activities, medication management, meals, and personal care in large one and two-bedroom apartments, and there's support for people with Alzheimer's or dementia through secure environments, memory-enhancing activities, and special programs for mental wellness and mild cognitive impairment. There's also nursing and skilled support for those who need more medical attention, along with short-term respite options for caregivers who need a break, so seniors can adjust their care as they age and stay in one place. Mirador Living runs Ensō Village as part of its senior community options, and there's a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging for everyone-residents, staff, and visitors alike-with the idea of letting people live fully and meaningfully together.

The Preview Center has floor plans, renderings, and construction photos for visitors to check out by appointment, has a scale model of the campus for tours, and uses an Enso Circle reservation system since apartment selection comes from a limited inventory, so people who are interested need to schedule their visits and fill out paperwork ahead of time. While visitors look around, staff might serve refreshments in the dining area, but the Center itself doesn't have the full set of community amenities. The main campus, now in development, will have meditation halls, a bell tower, a memorial grove, a tea room, private and outdoor dining areas, and spaces for recreation and wellness like Tai Chi, yoga, mindfulness classes, contemplative care groups, and a farm and garden area, creating a peaceful environment that encourages healthy aging, spiritual well-being, and lifelong learning with plenty of lectures and group activities.

Ensō Village follows the lead of the San Francisco Zen Center and Kendal, blending Zen principles with senior care, to create a place where everyone, age 60 and up, can find both privacy and community in stylish, thoughtfully designed homes. The community tries to give each resident personal attention and 24-hour care if needed, supports wellness and health, and offers programs like Inspirement, which invites people to keep exploring new interests, all while staying near medical centers like Healdsburg, Kaiser, and Sutter for added safety. For extra convenience, there's transportation, fitness programs, and a variety of dining options, and the Preview Center only opens on weekdays starting at 8:00 a.m. by scheduled appointment to keep things safe and organized. The business side lets the staff keep information updated and talk with people online. Ensō Village Preview Center stands out for its open approach to community life, inclusive values, and design that supports both independence and care, though pricing and location details aren't included in the information provided.
