    Warm compassionate home-like senior care

I'm so grateful for this warm, home-like senior living - the owner and staff are amazing, kind, and go above and beyond with individualized, compassionate care. My father is immaculately cared for in a clean, private room personalized with family photos; there are social activities, outings, and little touches like Friday nails. I highly recommend this loving, nurturing place.

    About Beyond a Home LLC

Beyond a Home LLC sits in a single-story residential house with a quiet and comfortable setting where up to six residents can live. The facility offers private suites, each one safe and fitted with alarm systems and alert devices for quick help if needed, some folks find those features reassuring, especially when they need a little more support. Beyond a Home LLC brings together assisted living, independent living, memory care, respite care for short stays, and skilled nursing services all under one roof, so residents with different needs, from simple help with daily tasks to more hands-on medical care, find appropriate care here. Staff provide help with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication, mobility, and wound care, plus daily health checks like vital signs, wheelchair transfers, and incontinence care, that way, even people who need frequent support can still participate in daily life with some independence.

There's focus on memory care with specialized programs and 24-hour support for folks with Alzheimer's or other memory challenges. Activities-indoors and outdoors-take place throughout the week, and they try to fit all interests and abilities, from gardening and art to music therapy, bingo, trivia, walking paths, beauty days, and small parties for birthdays or holidays. The kitchen serves three home-cooked meals each day, made from fresh ingredients, with adjustments for dietary needs, plus healthy snacks and drinks at hand, which some really enjoy, especially those who appreciate both flavor and good nutrition.

The facility runs with a client-centered approach, making sure care plans reflect what each person likes and needs, and staff aim to know each person well, offering comfort and companionship around the clock. Beyond a Home LLC welcomes all genders and orientations, leading with respect and care to form genuine relationships. Housekeeping, laundry, and chores get handled by staff, which means residents can spend more time socializing, resting, or joining in on activities.

Fitness and recreation are available in a fitness center, lounge, game room, library, and garden, where people can find a quiet corner or join a group. Residents who need to go to outside appointments or in-home beauty visits get support with rides and escorts, so families have fewer worries about logistics. Medical care is always present, with a licensed, experienced care team, daily monitoring, and round-the-clock nursing, and people can get help with medical appointments, therapy, or even hospice support if needed. The community holds a license (number #197610169) for up to six residents under the standard state rules, with their last DSS visit on 4/26/2023 and no current complaints or citations reported.

The fee structure includes a $1000 entry fee and all rooms are private. Folks also mention the supportive atmosphere that feels homey, family-oriented, and inclusive. House staff are trained in memory care, respite care, and end-of-life care, so those in all stages of aging-even those who want to keep their independence or require more hands-on support-have help in a safe and welcoming place.
