    Welcoming staff and excellent facilities

I toured and felt immediately welcome - the staff are loving, kind, language-friendly and go above and beyond, helping with the transition and keeping great family communication. The facility is clean, roomy with private bathrooms, a lovely garden, very good food and reliable housekeeping/laundry; I've already recommended it to a friend and would recommend it to others.

    About Infinity Home Care

Infinity Home Care sits in a quiet neighborhood in Mission Viejo, California, where seniors who need help can live in comfort with peace of mind, and it's run by its owner who takes pride in making sure the place feels inviting, clean, and safe. The facility is pretty new, with just six private bedrooms, and each room has its own private bath, which is nice for privacy and dignity, and you don't need to share with anyone. Folks who live there get meals provided every day, either one or two a day, and the kitchen offers both kosher and vegetarian choices for residents who want or need those. The place takes care of the laundry and all the cleaning, so nobody needs to worry about housework piling up.

They're set up for both men and women, and they let you bring your small pets, which is good for someone who can't stand to leave their dog or cat behind, plus there's parking if you want to keep your car. You won't see smoking indoors, because they have a no smoking policy in all the public and private areas, which helps keep the air clean. The showers and tubs are all wheelchair accessible, so folks with mobility issues can still bathe safely. And the backyard and patio offer a nice spot to get outdoors and have some fresh air or maybe just sit for a while with a neighbor.

Infinity Home Care focuses on people who need a lot of help-including seniors with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, and they've got a whole memory care section in a separate, secured building, with reminders and supervision for things like grooming and daily activities. They use special bracelets that sound an alarm if someone goes too far out, which helps prevent wandering. Staff can give reminders, manage medicine, monitor diabetes, and handle different levels of need, from minor help with getting up to major assistance with transfers, and they take residents who have behaviors or who are non-ambulatory. There's a doctor and nurse on call along with trained staff on site-usually two caregivers present, sometimes three, and they know how to handle crises if they come up. You get access to dentists, podiatrists, physical and occupational therapists, even a hairdresser or manicurist who visits, so you don't have to go far for care.

For the spirit, they have devotional services, both at the facility and sometimes off-site, and an activities program with an activities director who pays attention to what folks like and are able to do-so, if a resident needs extra help to participate or wants something quieter or less demanding, the director will try to arrange it. People can get to appointments or out in the community since they provide transportation, which is sometimes free-other times there's an extra charge. The facility accepts people needing hospice or respite care, so families who need a break or have a loved one close to the end of life have support too.

All in all, Infinity Home Care gives a close-knit setting where staff know the residents well and look after them with attention. Meals, help with personal care, medical visits, activities, and a secured, well-maintained home-this is what residents can expect here. You can find more about them at infinityhomecare.org.
