    Compassionate, attentive care; highly recommended

I placed my mom here and couldn't be more grateful - the attentive, compassionate staff and management (decades of experience) treated her like family and provided diligent medication management, BP checks, laundry/clean linens and proactive, worry-free care. The freshly remodeled, bright facility (only six residents) is clean and modern with a new kitchen, large common area and in-room TVs; breakfasts and family-style meals were good (lunch small, dinners occasionally cold). Affordable, COVID-safe, far better than SNFs - I highly recommend it; the owner and caregivers went above and beyond and my loved one's final days were peacefully spent here.

    About Angeles Assisted Living

Angeles Assisted Living is a small, homelike senior community in North Hills and Woodland Hills, California, with room for up to six residents in each house, so folks get more personal attention from caregivers who are always around, even during the night, and the staff really help with all the main daily things like bathing, dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom, plus they keep an eye on medications and handle scheduling and trips to doctor appointments so residents stay on track and safe. The buildings are furnished to feel comfortable-not like a hospital-and there's a cozy lounge with armchairs and a patio, gardens to walk in, and both private and semi-private rooms with bathrooms and TV, so people have choices depending on what suits them best. They offer all the food, which is homemade and healthy, taken in a bright dining room and snacks are always available, with special meals for allergies, diabetes, gluten-free, or vegan diets, and folks say the food tastes good and always gets served fresh. The staff also help with laundry, maintaining clean linens, housekeeping, and there are plenty of activities every day-movie nights, gardening, games, and outings-so there's always something to do and ways to stay social, and pets like cats and dogs are allowed with help for pet care.

Angeles Assisted Living covers all levels of care, so if someone needs a light hand or a lot of help-including assisted living, memory care for those with Alzheimer's or dementia, behavioral care, hospice, and support for incontinence or diabetes-they've got trained staff who can jump into action, even with things like using mechanical lifts, two-person transfers, and safety bracelets that sound alarms for those who might wander. Care is tailored for each person, so as needs change, residents can stay put without having to move. The environment is safe, quiet, and homelike, with a high staff-to-resident ratio, and caregivers are known for being friendly and quick to notice anything a resident might need. Prices include most things in a simple monthly rent, with various transportation options, resident parking, and scheduled rides for errands or family. The property stays clean and well-kept, and the program aims to keep seniors balanced socially and emotionally while helping them stay as independent as possible for as long as they can. The facility is licensed and regularly checked by the State of California (#197609891).
