    Compassionate attentive memory care community

I'm so grateful for the caring, knowledgeable staff - long-tenured, trained in Alzheimer's/dementia care, and truly attentive to my mom during her last months. The small, homey facility is clean, secure, and cozy with lovely outdoor space and friendly animals (Sugar the pot-bellied pig is a daily delight); residents are calm and content. Meals are good, transportation and medical needs are handled proactively, and the team communicates compassionately with families. I highly recommend this memory-care community.

About Memory Care Our Countryside Resort

Memory Care Our Countryside Resort stands alone on a single story, and you walk in and know right away it's set up for seniors with memory loss, Alzheimer's, or dementia, with a home-like setting and a safe, peaceful feel right down to the farm and park-like grounds, and you'll notice the staff, always dementia-trained and always on duty around the clock, helping residents with whatever they need, whether it's bathing, getting dressed, or moving between rooms. The care team gives medicine right on schedule with meticulous medication management, doesn't miss anything, and the whole place is locked and secure, so residents can wander within the grounds without risk, which really helps families rest easy. The facility only houses up to 36 people at a time, so there's room enough to keep things calm and personal, and you see private and semi-private rooms set up for comfort with easy access, since the whole building is on one level.

There's always something going on, from art classes and music therapy to movie nights, socials, and birthday parties, and the community holds themed events and family gatherings, keeping everyone active and encouraging friendships, and you notice residents really get to enjoy themselves, whether they're relaxing in the library, playing games in the game room, or visiting the barber and salon. You'll see the cooking staff preparing meals that are both healthy and tasty, with attention to dietary needs, and there are snacks on hand as well. For wellness, you'll find activities like gentle fitness programs, mindfulness practice, and regular health checks, and housekeeping and laundry are taken care of by staff, so daily living chores aren't a worry. The place is licensed under California's rules-license number 336406991-providing assisted living, hospice care, and even short-term respite stays if someone needs just a bit of extra help after a hospital stay. Hospice support is provided with respect and compassion during end-of-life stages, and there's an Alzheimer's Support Group for families every 2nd and 4th Thursday.

Transportation's available if residents need to go to the doctor, and nearby you've got places like Cardio Vascular Plus for specialized care. The staff makes sure everyone gets the right care with personalized plans and a forgiving approach, so whatever residents say or do, the staff responds with patience. Housekeeping, laundry, meals and snacks, basic personal items-all included-so it really does feel like home, but with the kind of support people with memory loss need, including a 24-hour call system and supervision at all times. Unique to this place is the memory care focus-every program, amenity, and routine is designed around those living with dementia and memory challenges, from the safety features built in to the activities that help keep minds engaged and spirits lifted, making Memory Care Our Countryside Resort a place where residents can live with dignity and care that's both thoughtful and consistent.
