    Kind staff, clean, excellent food

I'm very happy with this community - A Place For Mom guided us and the staff here are consistently kind, caring and helpful. Rooms, grounds and common areas are immaculately clean and well maintained, with nice patios and redwood views. Food is excellent (fresh produce, salad bar, varied entrees) and housekeeping, free laundry and shuttle service make it a great value. There are plenty of activities and field trips to keep residents engaged and staff turnover is low. Downsides: the building is dated and dim in places, some carpet/musty spots, limited on-site personal care/dementia services, and accessibility/dining layout issues; I also had one brusque manager interaction. Overall my loved one is happy and I'd recommend it.
