    Exceptional staff, concerns about food

I'm grateful my mother gets exceptional, compassionate care - the staff are attentive, friendly, professional, the home is clean, safe and very home-like with engaging activities and proactive communication. My one major concern is ownership/management and the poor, repetitive meals (I often saw hot dogs or ramen) despite high fees, so while I highly recommend the staff and atmosphere, watch the billing and food.

    About Angels Assisted Living

Angels Assisted Living sits in Roseville, California, and is a small co-ed community with just six bedrooms and three bathrooms, so residents get a quieter, homelike setting instead of a large, busy place, and they help both men and women, folks who need help with daily things like dressing, bathing, or medication are welcome, and there are always caregivers on staff, including RNs and trained aides, around the clock to keep everyone safe and supported. They offer memory care for those needing extra help with dementia or memory loss, and there's respite and hospice care so families and residents can get extra support when it's required, plus adult day services for folks who don't live onsite. The place is designed to be comfortable with private rooms, a living room, and a dining area, and all spaces are wheelchair accessible with specially designed showers.

Angels Assisted Living allows pets, but no one can smoke inside, not in the rooms or the common areas, which helps keep things clean and fresh, and the staff keep close watch with emergency alert systems and supervision at all hours. The house is bright and inviting, with indoor and outdoor spaces, like a large deck and patio, and there's a yard with a plant box for growing fruits, flowers, and vegetables, which gives folks a chance to garden or just sit outside. Inside, cable TV and Wi-Fi keep everyone connected, and there's phone service for reaching loved ones, which is important since families get notified right away about any incidents.

Meals are cooked onsite and set up for healthy eating or special diets if needed, so residents get proper nutrition, and staff help with exercises so folks keep moving and work on staying as strong and steady as possible. Nurses check in regularly, and residents can get visits from a dentist or podiatrist right at the house, with transportation available for outside medical appointments. Barbers and beauticians come in for haircuts, so people look and feel like themselves, and there are lots of planned activities both in the house and out around town, including games, movie nights, devotional services, and social events-it's meant to make everyone feel like they belong and keep folks active every day. Residents get help with things like taking medicine, transfers in and out of chairs, and whatever daily needs they have, and everything's handled with kindness and respect for privacy.

The place is fully licensed in California with License #: 345003013 and recently got a high review score of 8.5 out of 10 from families and residents. It even earned the "Best of Senior Living 2025" award, likely because people notice the clean house, quick communication on any issues, and the way the staff pay attention. Anyone looking for independent living, assisted living, or memory care can find a spot here if there's a vacancy, and the care is adjusted for each resident, with an emphasis on safety, health, and treating people with dignity.
