About Pruneridge Residential Care Home #2

Pruneridge Residential Care Home #2 sits in San Jose, California, and houses up to six residents in a home-like setting, which feels a lot like a quiet neighborhood house with common areas, garden paths, and balconies where folks can sit or stroll when the weather's nice, and that's always appreciated. The facility offers both private and semi-private furnished rooms, with choices like small studios or single bedrooms, and each one comes with features such as high-definition TVs, private ADA bathrooms, emergency alert buttons, and cable, telephone, and WiFi, which helps people stay connected or relax as they like. Caregivers here provide help with daily living-getting dressed, bathing, managing medications, moving around, and eating-while registered nurses are on call twenty-four hours, and there's always staff ready if anybody needs to get to the bathroom or wants a scheduled reminder for it, so support never really feels far away.

People with dementia or Alzheimer's get specialized care programs and memory care services, including extra safety steps in room design and individual support plans shaped by each resident's needs, and there's diabetic management, Parkinson's care, incontinence care, and help with mobility, including moving and transferring, and even to activities or meals. Every resident gets individualized plans, and there are wellness programs like doctor assessments, a dietitian to watch over meals, special diabetic and pureed menu choices, and snacks between meals, so nutrition and health get steady attention inside a cheerful dining room or private dining space if that's what someone prefers. For those wanting to spend time with others, Pruneridge runs fitness classes, arts and crafts, movie nights in a small theatre, chapel services, trips in the greenhouse, and plenty of social and recreational activities, and there's always a bistro, library, or walking path nearby when residents want a change of scene.

Pruneridge Residential Care Home #2 has basic housekeeping, laundry, linen service, and transportation assistance, and the staff schedules rides to medical appointments and offers a little extra help, acting as a sort of concierge when needed and helping with moves or arranging doctor visits as life brings new challenges. Residents can bring pets, which makes the place warmer, and there's always attention to folks with lower mobility, offering special support and rehabilitation services. The community speaks English and Filipino, aiming to meet every resident's needs, and keeps a gentle, friendly approach. State license #435294181, the board-and-care home operates under California requirements with regular surveys. Pruneridge doesn't accept Medicare unless it's certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, but it's open to both short and long-term stays, and offers respite care for families who need a break. Services include medication help, home health, medication coordination, coordination with outside providers, fitness sessions, and all-day supervision, and the home keeps safety in mind with panic buttons, scheduled bathroom reminders, and private ADA-compliant bathrooms. The aim here is a peaceful place where older adults can feel safe, eat well, and enjoy a little company in a familiar setting.
