    About Angels Guest Home

Angels Guest Home is a small residential care facility for the elderly, licensed since April 2006 to care for up to 6 residents in a quiet Santee neighborhood at 9208 Bellagio Rd. The staff provides around-the-clock supervision and helps with bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and personal hygiene. There's a licensed nurse on staff and support for special health needs like insulin management and incontinence care. Residents get help with washing, grooming, clothing choices, and movement throughout the day and night, with extra care given to those with memory loss, special diets, and changing needs. The home has both private and shared rooms, all fully furnished, with private phones available, and caregivers handle laundry, housekeeping, and meal preparation. Meals are home-cooked and made daily, and special diets like those for diabetes or high blood pressure can be arranged. Snacks and drinks are out for residents any time.

Life at Angels Guest Home includes simple pleasures like flowers, home-baked cookies, and decorations for holidays, while staff organize social and recreational activities such as music, crafts, board games, pet therapy, and community nights. Residents might watch movies together, attend faith-based outings, or enjoy outdoor relaxation in the landscaped gardens and walking paths. Transportation is offered for doctor's visits and errands, and family and friends are welcome to join for events or celebrations like birthdays. There's help with getting in and out of the shower, as well as round-the-clock monitoring for safety, including emergency alert systems throughout the building. Some rooms look out on yard spaces and the whole place is wheelchair accessible. Angels Guest Home assists seniors using SSI, accepts residents through the Assisted Living Waiver Program, and works with the San Diego Regional Center.

The staff knows each resident, keeping the atmosphere warm and caring with attention to both physical and emotional needs. You'll find magazines, puzzles, and tabletop games out, and the community uses common areas for gathering and dining, so no one feels left alone. There's a podiatrist and mobile physician who visit, along with 24-hour nurse assistance for medication management and health planning. Respite, hospice, and memory care services are available, and respite care is offered for short stays. The home focuses on keeping things clean, friendly, and simple, paying attention to details that add to comfort and peace of mind every day.
