    Attentive compassionate warm organized care

I have peace of mind here: attentive, trustworthy staff and skilled nurses (Lilibeth) treated my dad like family, coordinated hospice seamlessly, and provided organized, empathetic care. The home is spotless and beautiful, with roomy rooms, lovely landscaping, home-cooked meals tailored to residents' needs, and a convenient Palo Alto location - Penny and the team are very helpful. A few therapy services were still being phased in when we arrived, but the warmth, personalized care, and medical attention have been outstanding.

    About Epione Residential Care

Epione Residential Care sits on South Mary Avenue in Sunnyvale, right in Santa Clara County, and you'll see it's one of those homes where six residents live together in a single-story house that's been fixed up to be comfortable and safe, with private and shared rooms, and you'll see the place is really clean and tidy, no bad smells or messes, and the whole feel is homelike and warm, so residents don't feel lost in a big facility. Lilibeth Jacobs, who's a registered nurse, runs a team of caregivers who look after people all day and night, taking care of health needs, making sure folks get their medicine on time, and helping with things like bathing, dressing, and eating, while keeping an eye on anyone who might need a hand moving around so folks are less likely to fall. Meals are home-cooked and changed around for residents with allergies or diabetes, and if you walk around, you'll find a nice yard and some paths for getting fresh air or taking a calm stroll. The team helps residents stay active and social with things like movie nights, creative arts, group meals, walks, and the occasional shopping trip, and they check up on everybody's health, handle laundry and cleaning, and work with family as much as they can, encouraging visits and your phone calls so folks don't feel forgotten. For doctors' visits, there's transportation, and residents have emergency call buttons in their rooms for quick help, which is good peace of mind. If someone's going through hospital stays or rehab, the staff works hard to advocate for comfort, and if needed, they'll coordinate with hospice for pain relief and support. Epione Residential Care has a license for six beds, and it's been in business for over five years under license number 435202751, with the last licensing check done in March 2021. The whole idea here is to give seniors a safe, cheerful place to live where they're respected, with plenty of help when needed but freedom when possible, whether folks need a little extra help, memory care, or more independent living, and the home takes Medicaid for payment and keeps privacy and resident information secure at all times.
