My mother has lived here for 4.5 years; the homes are beautiful and impeccably maintained, with a lovely, inviting backyard and built-in wheelchair ramps. Caregivers like Odette and Mervin are loving, became like family, and the long-term staff have been very caring and helpful during transitions. That said, management felt controlling and impersonal at times: I was asked for a deposit before paperwork, wasn't given a receipt, and the deposit wasn't returned when our plans changed; I also felt pressured to move. Some staff were unhelpful, a couple of caregivers were unsatisfactory, and meals are often over-pureed. Overall I'm grateful for the compassionate caregivers and grounds, but I'd advise caution with the owner/administration and contract practices.
