Dalistan Care Home sits on Scott Street in Ukiah, California, and has been caring for seniors since 1980 when Danny and Paz Dalistan opened it, and the place provides assisted living services in a small, residential setting for up to 12 people, with private rooms for everyone and a focus on a supportive community. Residents get help with things like dressing, bathing, grooming, and hygiene, and the staff handles medication management and incontinence care, and meals are prepared on-site with special menus for allergies and diabetes, so if someone needs guidance for senior living or help figuring out care plans, the team gives information and support. Dalistan Care Home's trained staff are always there, offering 24-hour supervision, and they collaborate with doctors, nurses, and families to follow care plans and make any changes residents need, whether it's for Alzheimer's, dementia, or hospice care through outside health services, and the community also includes organized activities, fitness, yoga, and walks in the garden or around the grounds, so staying active is part of daily routine. Residents get general healthcare services, meal service once or twice a day, laundry, dry cleaning, and housekeeping, and the place provides transportation for shopping, appointments, or errands, with WiFi, furnished rooms, an emergency alert system, and parking among the features. Staff keep up with training in elderly care, mental health, medication help, and first aid, so everyone gets watched over with safety and good care top of mind, and the home does things like promoting independence, socializing, and keeping a clean environment, meeting the standards set by the state with license number 230111889. There's a clear policy of not referring residents directly to Dalistan Care Home II, although they're associated, and if people want to see the facility, tours can be set up to meet some of the staff and other residents. Everything the home does tries to stick to values of integrity, compassion, and respect, and folks can find more details on their website, dalistancarehome.com.
Exceptional loving care; highly recommend
I was worried at first after a rough intake and poor responsiveness, but that changed quickly. The staff proved thoughtful, knowledgeable and loving - respectful, stable, and truly family-oriented. My mom received exceptional care in a lovely setting with nourishing food, fun activities, and regular updates that kept us informed. I wish we'd moved her sooner; I give my highest recommendation.
