    Pleasant stay but serious issues

    I mostly enjoyed my stay - the facility is immaculate, homey and well organized with inviting, comfortable rooms, a quiet flat backyard, good meals, effective medication management and caring staff (the owner is a nurse on-site and Gina in charge is excellent). It's close to home (about 2.5 miles) and good value; I would tour again if a room opens. However I was hospitalized for a bladder infection and they refused readmission and reimbursement; injuries occurred without timely family notification and some staff seemed clueless. Overall I'm pleased with many aspects but cannot give the highest recommendation; exterior maintenance could also improve.
