    Compassionate care, worn facility, recommended

    I visited a small, older motel-style facility that felt cozy and home-like; my sister was kept safe, rooms were generally clean, and the caregivers and owner were clearly compassionate and skilled-excellent hands-on, 24/7 care for difficult cases. The downside: the building is run-down (peeling paint, mildew, dark hallways), only some studios appear renovated, and decor isn't modern. Communication was poor-unresponsive phone, missed appointments, language barriers, and staff often seemed short-staffed/overworked. If you need affordable, attentive care over flashy amenities and don't require many activities, I would recommend it.
