I called this senior living facility and was met with rude staff on the phone and consistently terrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend them.

    About Anciano Towers

Anciano Towers is an affordable senior living community for people aged 62 and older, with apartments designed for both independent seniors and those with mobility or sensory impairments, and the rooms offer about 559 square feet of space, with safety rails in bathrooms, emergency call systems, full kitchens, and features that make life a little easier, like heating and air conditioning, fire and smoke detectors, and carpeting with window treatments, plus all the apartments are inside a secure building with a locked entry and intercom system so residents and their guests feel safe. The place operates as a Section 8 (202) community, which means rent depends on income, so most folks pay about 30% of what they bring in each month, and HUD helps cover the rest if residents qualify, and the 50 one-bedroom apartments available give choices for those who want affordable, comfortable housing with their independence, and anyone with mobility difficulties can get an accessible apartment, too. People living here get to use a community room, on-site laundry facilities with four washers and four dryers, indoor mailboxes, elevators on every floor, ample parking in the lot out back, and there's on-site management and maintenance to help when things go wrong, while building features like raised gardens, landscaped grounds, and garbage and recycling centers on every floor keep things pleasant and convenient. Anciano Towers is served by the local Just City Run transit system, so residents get easy rides to shops, restaurants, cafes, or nearby parks and attractions right from the front door. Staff at Anciano Towers are known for being helpful, cheerful, and kind, creating a warm and welcoming place where people say hello and often check in on each other, and residents have access to a bunch of social, physical, mental, and emotional activities, which have even won some awards over the years, making it easier to stay active and form friendships. Meals here get a lot of attention, with chefs and meal planners cooking up nutritious food with good ingredients, so dinner usually tastes like home and helps support health, and for those who need help, there are options for home care, assisted living, and memory care, so people can get support with daily tasks or therapies in a safe and calm environment if they need it. Anciano Towers offers secure and simple living for very low-income seniors, making it possible for people to stay independent and active without worrying so much about costs or safety, and the environment feels like a true community where everyone has a chance to take part, lend a hand, and enjoy their retirement with comfort and dignity.
