    Clean, caring staff; communication concerns

I moved my mom into this recently renovated, very clean, smaller community because the staff felt loving and professional and medication management is excellent. The CNAs and higher staffing levels, freshly made meals (steamed veg, higher-protein ADA options), on-site hairdresser and podiatrist, regular geriatric visits, and included toiletries/incontinence supplies have been real positives. Downsides: location isn't ideal, activities and outside outings are limited, and there's no in-house transportation yet (doctor rides need outside help at extra cost). I have serious concerns about medical responsiveness and family communication and felt management's representations could have been clearer - despite that, I'm confident my mom is well cared for overall.

    About Providence Of Alpharetta

Providence Of Alpharetta sits tucked away in Georgia with space for up to six residents in a peaceful setting that feels like a home, not a big facility, and the staff keep everything very clean and friendly so you feel comfortable and safe. Residents get to pick from private apartments, but they share dining spaces and gathering rooms where people can join in on activities like board games, music therapy, outdoor trips, and movie nights, and the staff plan special events and group meals that everyone can enjoy together, even those folks who need help with things like bathing, dressing, walking, or eating. If someone needs medicine, insulin shots, or help transferring from bed, the staff can do that as well, and there's always someone on-site day and night. Providence Of Alpharetta offers both independent and assisted living, and there are memory care and dementia services for those who need extra support, plus skilled nursing care if a resident's health gets more complicated. The building is wheelchair accessible and has features like wide showers and resident parking to make getting around a bit easier, and people can bring their cats or dogs if they want, because this place tries to feel as much like a home as possible.

Meals are homemade and served three times a day, and there are diet choices for diabetes or high blood pressure if needed, and a visiting nurse and doctor are always available if anyone needs to check on something. Residents get help with housekeeping and laundry, and a mobile barber or hairdresser comes by for haircuts or styling, with the staff making sure everyone stays comfortable and well groomed. Transportation is arranged for doctor's appointments, shopping, and outings, and there are religious and spiritual services for anyone who wants them. There's a sauna, jacuzzi room, and outdoor spaces to enjoy the sun or fresh air, and regular exercise sessions to keep everyone moving and feeling good. Providence Of Alpharetta charges from $3,000 per month for assisted living, and accepts Veterans Aid & Attendance benefits plus long-term care insurance programs for those who qualify.

The staff focus on helping each resident keep their independence as much as possible, using personalized care plans made to fit each person's needs, and they take pride in treating everyone with dignity and respect, so folks feel valued, engaged, and at home. There's a calm, pleasant feeling in the community, and a steady routine helps people feel secure, with plenty of activities, health programs, companions, and even therapies like speech or physical therapy available. Providence Of Alpharetta is licensed by Georgia's Department of Social Services and has won awards for its meals, activities, and friendly atmosphere, so it's a place where people can find both support and a caring home for the next part of life.
