    Immaculate facility, caring staff, expensive

I toured and moved a loved one here and have been impressed: the brand-new facility is immaculate, modern, and offers beautiful mountain views, great outdoor spaces and lots of amenities. The staff are kind, attentive and genuinely caring-meds are handled carefully and residents seem engaged with plenty of activities. Dining and meals were generally good but others mentioned inconsistent food quality; I also noticed occasional staffing/communication and management/security hiccups. Overall excellent care and atmosphere, but it's expensive, so weigh the cost.

About The Canopy at Boynton Ridge

The Canopy at Boynton Ridge stands as a two-story senior living community in Ringgold, Georgia, with views of the mountains and a fresh, clean atmosphere, and it first opened its doors in early 2021, so everything feels fairly new, and it was built for adults aged 55 and older who want comfort, care, and some peace of mind. This place offers living options with studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments that have full bathrooms about the size of a medium bedroom, well-kept kitchens with stainless steel appliances in certain assisted living spaces, and large living areas with walk-in closets-plus residents can decorate them to their own style. The apartments range from 282 to 495 square feet so residents can pick a space that fits their needs, and pets are allowed, with possible extra fees.

The Canopy keeps things safe and accessible for everyone, and there are plenty of practical outdoor spaces for walks and gardening, so folks can get fresh air and sunlight or sit on the covered patio in the secure courtyard with nice views and artificial turf that makes things easy to walk on. There's a strong sense of community here, built with southern charm and homelike touches, so common rooms have comfortable seating, fireplaces, and stylish decor, giving every area a welcoming feel. The Memory Care dining room stands out with its large table, nice chairs, a TV, and elegant chandeliers, making meals feel special and social. The food gets good attention, with chefs preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that meet special diets or personal preferences, and they keep the tables clean and the dining rooms comfortable.

A focus on health is clear here, as residents get both assisted living and memory care, depending on what they need, and there's independent living for those who're still quite active, as well as home care options where trained aides help with non-medical care and companionship. Care staff are there twenty-four hours, ready to help, and services like weekly housekeeping, linen service, laundry, utilities, cable, and general maintenance are all part of a simple monthly fee, so daily life is easier for everyone. There's a big focus on keeping people well-physical, mental, and emotional health are all cared for, from a full on-site salon and hair care services to massage, meditation, and the SRI University program, which keeps minds busy with university-style classes, programs, and activities meant to keep folks sharp and engaged.

For fun and wellness, there are activities every day, with crafts, games, a media room, a bistro, a chapel, outings, and arts programs, and even a HEARTS Welcome Program so everyone feels included from their first day. Rooms, as well as common areas, smell fresh and stay clean, and everything's set to be easy to get around in, with features built to support safety and quality of life. Community spaces have their own unique names, and there's Wi-Fi and high-speed internet almost everywhere, so it's easy to connect with friends and family or just watch TV in peace.

This is a pet-friendly place-though there may be rules or extra fees-and residents are encouraged to stay as active as possible, both physically and socially, with group trips, outdoor activities, and regular programs for mind and body. Residents here get treated with respect and dignity, and the staff focuses on a caring, friendly environment. The Canopy at Boynton Ridge lists all its offerings and latest updates, including care types, on their website and has its ownership verified, so what you see is what you get, and you'll find an honest senior living experience near both Chattanooga and Atlanta, surrounded by nature, southern hospitality, and simple routines that help folks feel at home.
