    Spotless home with attentive staff

I placed my mother here and have been very pleased. The small, homey six-person home is spotless and odor-free, with private or shared apartment-style rooms and bathrooms, security cameras, an RN owner and 24-hour CNAs. Staff are professional, attentive and communicative; meals are excellent home-cooked fare (three meals + snacks), doctors visit nearby, and activities (bingo, jewelry making, cards, TV, garden, entertainment visits) are engaging. Memory-care capable, concerns are handled promptly - I highly recommend it.

    About Patron Place PCH

Patron Place PCH sits at 1487 Panola Road, Stone Mountain, GA, and offers a quiet place for seniors to live with as much help as they need, whether for a short stay or the long term, and the care can change as needs shift, covering things like assisted living, independent living, memory care, skilled nursing, and board and care, so if someone wants to stick around as their health changes, they don't have to move somewhere else. Caregivers and staff stay on site and awake around the clock, most are licensed and trained in dementia, diabetes, and different health needs, plus there are RNs, visiting physicians, nurse practitioners, podiatrists, beauticians, and barbers who come by to help out with medical needs and grooming, so folks don't have to travel out just for a haircut or a checkup. Folks who need help with day-to-day things like bathing, dressing, getting in and out of bed or chairs, and reminders for medications or bathroom visits, get it with a personalized plan, and things like medication are bubble packed and delivered straight from the pharmacy to make things easier and prevent mix-ups-there's even special care for folks with diabetes, including help with blood sugar checks and insulin shots. If someone struggles to walk or uses a wheelchair, the rooms and showers are built for easy access, including mechanical lifts and help with one- or two-person transfers when needed, and anyone needing incontinence care or supervision because they might try to wander can count on staff who help keep an eye out with things like alarm bracelets and a secure memory care section in its own building. Younger or more independent residents can come and go, but there's close supervision for those living with memory loss or big behavior challenges, plus daily programs, outings, indoor and outdoor areas for socializing and relaxing, and lots of activities like music, books, movies, games, crafts, gardening, walking groups, and faith services. There's scheduled transport for medical visits and errands, meals three times a day that fit special diets including diabetic, kosher, and vegetarian needs, weekly housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, and plenty of furnished spaces to make things feel homey, cozy, and safe. Patron Place PCH aims to keep families updated and involved, helping them sort out the tough questions and choose the care level that fits, offering tours, support, and reviews from folks who have been there, so families can get some peace of mind. The building follows fire safety codes and has emergency alert systems, and staff can help schedule and residents to meals, activities, or appointments, take care of late-night needs, and provide supervision for health, nutrition, and medications-there's even adult day care and short-term respite care for family caregivers needing a break. Residents can stay happy and comfortable with little extras, whether it's a newspaper in the morning, a walk in the garden, help with personal laundry, or movie night with neighbors. Everything tries to make daily life safer, easier, and more pleasant so that the community feels like a home where people can stay as independent as possible, with help always nearby when needed.
