    Beautiful place, inconsistent care quality

I toured and moved my mom here - the place is gorgeous, new, and packed with amenities and daily activities; the tour/advisor was excellent and many staff are warm and attentive. Dining and food are inconsistent: sometimes chef-quality and restaurant-style, other times small, institutional, or poorly managed and special diets aren't always accommodated. Staffing shortages, high turnover, frequent management/communication issues, elevator and maintenance problems, and occasional safety/response lapses are real concerns. Independent living felt great; assisted- and memory-care experiences were more mixed. It's expensive and prices rise, so I'd recommend it for the beautiful environment and social life but advise families to verify staffing, dining, and care reliability before committing.

    About Celebration Village Forsyth

Celebration Village Forsyth sits on 52 acres in Suwanee, Georgia, near parks, shopping, and hospitals, and has been open since 2017 with 355 units across five neighborhoods like Active Adult Bungalows, Independent Living Cottages, Independent Living Villas, Concierge Living Apartments, and Assisted Living Apartments & Memory Care Suites. The community is close to places like Brookwood Marketplace and Caney Creek Preserve, and there are walking paths, community gardens, and green spaces for strolls or sitting outside, and you'll see groves of trees and well-kept parks nearby. Residents can choose from independent living, concierge living, assisted living, and memory care options, plus Graceful Respite Stays for short-term needs or recovery, and skilled nursing care's available if someone needs it. The campus is "age-in-place," so folks can stay even if their care needs change, and there's always staff around to help with things like bathing, dressing, medication, and even diabetes or renal care, and there's support for Alzheimer's or other memory challenges with special memory care programs in place to help with routines and prevent wandering, for families who are worrying about that.

Apartments range from single or semi-private rooms to 2-bedroom layouts, and you'll find kitchenettes or even full kitchens in some homes, with cable and free WiFi throughout, as well as places for guests to stay overnight or join for meals in the community dining room. The community welcomes adults 55 and over, and they'll let you bring pets, so someone doesn't have to say goodbye to their cat or dog. If there's a special diet need, like low-sodium, low-fat, kosher, or vegetarian, the kitchen team can help, and meals come from programs like Celebrations Dining or Chef's Corner Cooking School, with options for room service if someone wants to eat in their apartment. Housekeeping, linen laundry, in-house laundry, dry cleaning, and private cleaning can be set up, and medication management is offered along with skilled nursing, companion care, and personal aides.

The campus is designed with safety and comfort in mind, including secured areas for memory care and emergency response systems, plus tall ceilings and modern finishes in shared and private spaces, which makes everything feel a bit more open and relaxing. You'll find tidy common rooms with TVs, an arts and crafts studio called Colors Art Studio, a cooking club, high-speed internet, and a recreation room for games, while Breeze's Bar & Bistro, Celebration Theater, and a heated pool with a cabana and grilling station offer more places to relax or gather with neighbors. There are two pools, a cabana, community gardens, and even offsite trips and non-public shuttle service to stores and restaurants since the campus is near 56,000 square feet of retail, including a Lidl Super Market.

The Village Program provides activities tied to each resident's interests and lifestyle, with game nights, story time, a resident musical group, and frequent events happening in the 20,000 square foot Celebration Social Club. The campus also offers religious services, spa treatments, Rejuvenate Salon, Vertical Fitness, haircuts and barber services, Frank's Game Parlor, and plenty of parking for residents and guests. Skilled physical therapists are on-site, and the staff can help with VA benefits or financial advice if needed. There are places to walk, relax, or garden, and overnight guests are welcome when families visit. The management company, Grace Management, Inc., has been running senior communities like this for over forty years and brings a philosophy of Living Gracefully, meaning residents are encouraged to grow, stay healthy, and join in social, creative, or wellness activities at their own pace, with help always nearby if someone needs it.
