    Homey facility but nursing concerns

I visited and liked the homey, small community-the owner clearly cares and staff like Kameryn and "Muffin" were warm, attentive and went the extra mile. Visits are encouraged, private rooms and tailored activities are available, and the place genuinely feels like home. That said, there's no licensed nurse on duty, I experienced a 16-hour medication delay, and I noticed some unprofessional/rude staff and high caregiver turnover (many with only ~6 weeks' tenure). Cost felt expensive (similar to Emeritus). Overall: lovely facility and several outstanding caregivers, but confirm nursing coverage, staff qualifications, and reliability before committing.

    About Rebecca Manor

Rebecca Manor sits in Alpharetta, Georgia, and offers senior living in a family style home, and you'll find only three residents here, sharing a 2500 square foot ranch setup, which means things don't really get too crowded and everyone has space in the wide hallways and larger rooms. You can choose private or semi-private rooms, and each space comes with features like kitchens or kitchenettes, safety features for folks who need them, and cable TV, along with washers and dryers so residents can keep up with laundry when they want. Trained staff are on duty around the clock, and Rebecca Manor gives help with daily living, personal care, meals, medication management, and walking or wheelchair assistance, and there's also respite care for families who just need a break, support groups, and forums for caregivers who want to talk to others in the same situation. You've also got state-licensed Personal Care Home services and non-medical home care for those who want extra support but don't need a nurse all day, plus board and care services for those looking for more independent or assisted living, and staff also handle high acuity or diabetic care if medical issues come up. Dining happens in a shared space, and guests can come visit, park, and spend time in the activity room, and there's a fitness center, a salon and barbershop, and WiFi, so there are still ways to stay active and connected. There's a secure environment for residents who need memory care or help with dementia or Alzheimer's, including special programs built to reduce confusion and wandering, and the place makes an effort to support different needs without trying to be too fancy about it, offering a simple, safe place for social activities, arts and crafts, community events, and health and education programs. Residents can get housekeeping, supplies, and meals, and long-term care insurance is accepted, which helps make things a bit simpler when planning ahead. Parks, recreational spots, and shopping areas are nearby, and the community focuses on keeping life comfortable and safe without over-complicating things.
