    Neglect understaffed poor care avoid

    I placed a loved one at Meadowbrook and my overall experience was negative. The building is fairly clean, secure, with big rooms and a TV and a few compassionate CNAs (Vee, Ozi) and some attentive nurses, but otherwise staff were unprofessional and the place seemed understaffed and dingy. We experienced neglect-cold/insufficient food, no snacks, rough handling, a misdiagnosed skin tear that became a bedsore, ignored concerns, callbacks not returned, an incident swept under the rug and a hospital readmission-so I would not recommend.
