    Caring staff, home-like, inconsistent management

I live here and, overall, I'm grateful - the staff are caring and friendly, residents are welcoming, and the place feels home-like and elegant with lots of activities, outings and amenities (theater, salon, library). My bright, spacious apartment and the beautiful, well-kept grounds make it comfortable, and on-site medical staff and emergency pull-cords give me peace of mind. Maintenance is helpful and responsive most of the time. That said, I've noticed management instability and some unprofessional behavior, occasional privacy breaches, and troubling cleanliness/pest incidents reported by others. Food service, laundry and some building systems can be inconsistent. I'd recommend it for the community and care, but visit, ask about pest control, meal plans and management turnover before you move in.
