    Friendly staff, active social life

I moved into a one-bedroom and overall I'm glad I did - the staff are outstanding, friendly and caring, and the busy activity schedule quickly reduced my loneliness so I made new friends. The apartments are roomy, clean and comfortable with nice amenities (salon, game room, library, community kitchen, patios) and easy parking access. Dining is inconsistent - some meals are excellent but variety and quality have slipped at times - and this is more an independent-living community than an assisted-care option. Management/staffing turnover and occasional maintenance or communication issues (billing, elevator, housekeeping gaps) are frustrating, and rent increases have been a concern. Still, it feels safe, homey, and I'd recommend it for active seniors who want strong social life and attentive staff.

The community covers several kinds of support, including independent living, assisted living, memory care for people with Alzheimer's or dementia, adult day care, nursing and rehab, respite care, continuing care, and even home care services, and the staff meet safety standards with screenings and checks, plus there's emergency response systems and personal alert services throughout. Security is present, property managers are onsite, and there are regular social events aimed at helping everyone feel they belong.
