About Valage Senior Living at Carson Valley (Summer 2025)

Valage Senior Living at Carson Valley, opening in Summer 2025 at 973 Ironwood Drive in Minden, NV, will have 56 assisted living units and 46 memory care units, so there's plenty of room for different needs. The building will be managed by Leading Light Development and Construction Consulting, built by Metcalf Builders, designed by PI Architects, and developed by Integral Senior Living and Greystone Housing Impact Investors working together. This community offers assisted living and memory care in a secure setting, with specialized programs like the Valage Senior Living program and comprehensive memory care services for those with Alzheimer's or dementia, and uses things like the Safely-You™ fall monitoring system and special lighting for nighttime safety. The apartments come as studios and one- or two-bedroom options, and they include features like walk-in closets, large bathrooms, full-size refrigerators, and their own secure Wi-Fi, with a focus on safety and comfort everywhere. People who need support with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, or medication will get help from trained staff, and those staying in memory care will be in spaces designed to reduce confusion and prevent wandering. The community plans to hire over 60 full-time workers, including nurses, an in-house chef and culinary team for balanced, nutritious meals, as well as activities and wellness teams that lead programs and social events. Amenities include secure walkways, activity rooms, social and pet-friendly areas, and places built for those with disabilities. Residents will have access to emergency response systems, and all apartments have their own Wi-Fi/high-speed internet, which is handy. There are also independent living and home care options for seniors who want a maintenance-free lifestyle or need some non-medical help. The community offers respite care too, which can give family caregivers a break when needed. The design centers around helping each resident stay as independent as possible, with lots of group activities for social, physical, and mental engagement-something recognized with awards for activities. Everything is set up to offer safety, quality of life, and comfort in a place where seniors can keep living well.
