    Clean, caring staff but unsuitable

I'm very pleased-spotless, family-like facility with reliable meals and activities; staff are cordial and attentive (Shaton and Rick Brooks stood out) and my mom made friends and feels safe. But the 1860s building is old with small rooms (most without bathrooms) and a funny smell, stairs/access issues made it unsuitable for my relative, aides and management can be inconsistent, and it's pricier than expected. Overall a lovely place for some, but not the right fit for my family member.
