Bayberry Retirement Inn, now known as Silver Treasures Senior Living, sits in Sanford, North Carolina, pretty close to hospitals and local doctors, and offers different types of care for seniors, from independent living for active folks to assisted living for those needing help with everyday things, and memory care for those with Alzheimer's or other memory issues, so people get support for bathing, dressing, medication, walking, and even wheelchair use, and they make a safe place with sprinklers, handrails, and helpful staff around the clock. Residents get roomy studios or one-bedroom apartments, each with cable TV, washers, dryers, and kitchens or kitchenettes, letting them keep a bit of their own routines, and they'll find shared areas like a game room, fitness center, salon and barbershop, dining room, and quiet sitting areas for visits or relaxing, plus there's internet, guest parking, and good safety features for peace of mind. There's a steady list of things to do, like social events, arts and crafts, health and wellness programs, and things that get folks up and moving or chatting with each other, and for people who like nature, there are flower gardens and benches outside, and since it's not far from parks and scenic places, people can enjoy some fresh air or just look at the green around them. The kitchen staff prepares meals-including vegetarian choices-that aim to be both healthy and tasty, and there's help with laundry, cleaning, and even getting around town for doctors or errands, so families don't have to worry as much. The staff, including helpful people like Executive Directors Ms. Cindy Sewell, Ms. Angela Millsaps, and Ms. Jennifer Parrott, is known for being friendly and creating a welcoming place, and the community feels homelike, with people often saying it's a spot full of smiles, laughter, and a sense of belonging. Families looking for answers about senior care can turn to a team of senior living advisors who guide them, and they have a service for giving detailed information about available rooms and pricing for studios or one-bedrooms, and reviews on SeniorAdvisor.com show high satisfaction, with almost all reviews verified, so there's a good track record for care and service. The Bayberry network, now Silver Treasures, has multiple locations in places like Beckley, WV; Eden, NC; Greenwood and Greer, SC; and Roanoke Rapids, NC, and all the communities try to keep a blend of attentive care, activities, and safe, friendly surroundings, and they keep up with the needs of seniors by offering spaces that work for different stages of aging in a way that feels more like a neighborhood than a big institution.

Exceptional staff, clean facility, recommended
I'm very pleased with this small, home-like independent living community - the staff are exceptional, extremely caring and attentive, and my mom loves it. The facility is clean, well kept, with good-sized rooms, lots of activities, and great value that gives our family real peace of mind. Food opinions vary (mostly good but occasionally hit-or-miss), but overall I highly recommend it.
