    Compassionate staff but inconsistent, unsafe

I'm torn - I experienced exceptional care from many warm, helpful staff (Melissa in admissions, Marcus in therapy), great rehab, lively activities and a well-kept, homey feel at times. Unfortunately I also saw serious problems: rude or unskilled employees, ignored call lights and falls, unsanitary/filthy areas, foul smells, poor food, communication failures and care errors that put residents at risk. I'm grateful for the compassionate people who went above and beyond, but families should know the quality here is inconsistent and sometimes unsafe.
