Orchard Park Assisted Living holds both an Ohio Department of Health license and certification by the Ohio Department of Aging to provide assisted living services, so you know it's regulated here in Ohio. The community has four different apartment styles, each with a private bathroom, and residents can bring their favorite belongings to make things feel more familiar, which helps create that home-like feeling right away. The environment is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff, 24-hour nurse coverage, and a mission focused on professional care in comfortable surroundings. There are walking trails circling the building, scenic courtyards, and porch areas where people can sit and visit or just enjoy the day, and there's also a library and TV rooms for quiet leisure. Activities are a big part of daily life, so whether someone enjoys Wii-bowling tournaments, concerts, holiday celebrations, parties, trips to local restaurants, or just spending time in the residents' lounge, it's more than just sitting around. The beauty salon and barber shop help people feel their best, and the activities director keeps things lively with both group and personal programs for every interest level, including options for folks with memory loss, Alzheimer's, or dementia. Services cover housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, and meal service, with three daily chef-prepared meals and snacks, all in a restaurant-style dining room or a quieter intimate dining area if preferred. The apartments offer both furnished and unfurnished choices, private bathrooms, emergency call systems, cable TV hook-ups, and Wi-Fi. The staff helps with personal needs like bathing, dressing, medication management, and day-to-day concerns, so people feel safe and have support without losing independence. Social outings, spiritual fellowship and worship programs, and an overall neighborly atmosphere all help residents feel part of a genuine community, and while pets aren't allowed, the focus stays on people's well-being and comfort, making life less of a daily burden and giving more time to do what matters to them.

Caring staff, comfortable home, recommended
My mom lives at Orchard Park and I'm grateful - the staff are warm, caring, and treat residents like family; her clean, private room feels like home, the food and therapy helped her regain strength (walking and even dancing), and the activities keep her social and happy. Communication and location are excellent; occasional slow call-light response/short staffing happens, but overall we're very satisfied and would highly recommend.
