Mostly supportive but staffing issues
I live at Glenwood and, overall, it feels like home - the staff are mostly attentive, respectful and helpful, there are many activities and outings, private patios/outdoor seating, flexible visiting and meal times, and it's very convenient to shops. I'm grateful nurses advocated for me - they detected cancer early and my health improved - and I appreciate the independence (guests can stay overnight, gardening, freedom to come and go). That said, staffing can be inconsistent: I've seen rude or uncaring employees, therapists who ignore patients, and a serious medication/discharge mishap that damaged my trust, so I recommend it cautiously.
