There's a real focus on safety, with a 24-hour call system, help for transfers, medication reminders, and help with dressing, bathing, and moving around, if someone needs it, plus skilled nursing available for up to 16 hours each day and supervision around the clock. Lima Manor also brings in pets sometimes for therapy, and runs events like movie nights, outdoor activities, and games. They offer support in English, Spanish, and Chinese, and they follow all laws to treat people fairly no matter their background, age, or ability, and they'll help with moving in, family support, and handling Medicaid or Medicare for those who need financial help. Lima Manor has a dedicated and experienced team who get to know each person to make care plans just for them, from memory care to daily living help to hospice and home medical services through St Ritas, and the community is closely tied with Shawnee Manor for skilled nursing referrals, especially now that Lima Manor isn't providing nursing care at this moment, but the space itself is being shaped for new uses, including expanding Christian education with a PreK-12 program, community activities, and modern upgrades to the building's technology, heating, and cooling, so it's ready for both children and seniors whenever something new opens up again.
