Carriage Court Of Marysville, which is now closed, was a senior living community at 717 S Walnut St, Marysville, Ohio, with 70 assisted living units and part of the Senior Lifestyle network. The community offered assisted living, memory care, and independent living, and people could choose from studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom room layouts, each with private bathrooms, air conditioning, cable TV, kitchenettes, telephones, Wi-Fi, and options for furnished rooms. Residents had all utilities and basic cable included, along with housekeeping, laundry, and regular maintenance. There was dining service with restaurant-style meals and several menu choices, including kosher, vegetarian, gluten-free, low sodium, and diabetic options, with Dining for Wellness™ and Brain Health University™ programs.
Carriage Court Assisted Living helped residents with personal care needs like bathing, dressing, transfers, and medication management, and there was 24-hour staff coverage and an in-room emergency alert system. Nurses provided care, and extra health support included speech therapy, wound care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, pain management, and psychiatry services. Memory care was available for those with Alzheimer's or dementia, with special programming and activities like arts and crafts, movie nights, music, exercise routines, and social outings, plus Brain Health University™ and award-winning Wellness Everyday™ programs, which operated throughout the week. The community had amenities such as a beauty and barber shop, walking paths, landscaped grounds, a swimming pool, a book collection, a convenience store, a library, a fitness room, game and activity rooms, and a spa/wellness room, with scheduled transportation for shopping and medical appointments.
Safety was a focus, with wheelchair accessibility, handicap features, emergency response systems, and 24-hour supervision. Carriage Court featured staff support and family services, concierge services, transportation and parking, and specialized care for residents with mild cognitive impairment as well as more advanced needs. It was managed by a business team led by Mr. Bill Kaplan, Co-Founder, but the facility had no BBB accreditation. Carriage Court Of Marysville is now permanently closed and does not operate as a senior living or care community anymore.
