Great therapy, serious staffing lapses
I had a mixed experience. The therapy department and several nurses/therapists (shoutout to Fred) were excellent - helpful, knowledgeable, and got my loved one stronger so they could go home; the building and rehab gym are pleasant. However the place is chronically short-staffed and disorganized: long call-light waits, missed showers/turnings, dirty rooms/trash, poor communication from administration, inconsistent therapists/dietitians, and coordination/transport failures. Memory/dementia care and safety were especially concerning for some - reports of sedation, falls, infections, and very poor responsiveness - so I'd recommend this more for short rehab/respite than long-term or dementia care. Overall: great therapy and many kind staff, but staffing and management issues risk serious lapses in basic care.
