    Pleasant facility but drug concerns

I liked the facility - clean and the people were pleasant. However I noticed drug activity and residents using marijuana without cards, and I was told some residents have felony histories with an unclear felony policy. I also heard allegations of housing misallocation and possible corruption, so I'd be cautious.

Two local transportation services help folks get to medical appointments or go out for fun, and there are five doctors nearby, making healthcare visits much simpler for those who live there. Three pharmacies are close, so picking up medications or getting a prescription refilled isn't difficult, and the staff includes trained people who provide specialized diabetic care as well as help with medication and daily activities like bathing and dressing.

Residents can pick from studio room layouts, and because Philipsburg Towers is part of a larger community, they can move between independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, or even home care, all depending on their needs as they change. There's a health center right on the campus that handles hospice and respite care, and if someone needs therapy-whether physical, occupational, or speech-they offer that, too, plus short-stay nursing programs for recovery.

The place gets an average rating of 8 out of 10 in community reviews, showing that most folks seem pretty happy with their experience. The staff is always around and ready to help, and they handle things like incontinence care, non-ambulatory care, and making sure all residents have a safe, comfortable place to live without much worry. The Towers offer indoor common areas where people can socialize, talk, or just spend time, and the community keeps a busy schedule of social, educational, and entertaining activities, with on-site and off-site devotional events to help folks connect and find meaning.

If someone likes to stay active and hang out with others, Philipsburg Towers offers lots of chances to meet people or do things together, and the facility includes comforts like air conditioning, a on-site laundry room, and a community area for gatherings or activities. The staff works to support residents' emotional and spiritual needs, especially those in hospice or facing tough times.
