Compassionate staff, alarming safety failures
I had a deeply mixed experience. Many staff were kind, attentive and communicative - clean private rooms, decent meals, on-site doctor, rehab/PT and regular activities helped residents. But I also saw serious safety and care failures: poor hygiene (urine/feces reports), unmade beds/towels not changed, unresponsive nurses, a stolen hearing aid, a violent co-patient attack, and a resident who died of MRSA after weekend treatment was refused and an ambulance was needed. Good people work there, but inconsistent care and troubling safety lapses made me leave and warn others.
