Brushy Creek Post Acute sits at 101 Cottage Creek Cir in Greer and runs all day and night, and when people come here, they find a clean place folks have described as beautiful, and this place focuses mostly on post-acute care, so people come after hospital stays or needing rehab with a mix of skilled nursing, physical therapy, and occupational therapy services, and the therapy covers things like manual therapy, exercise, strength work, and help for balance and heart health, and there's always a strong focus on safety and healing, and the staff take care of older adults, the frail, and those with disabilities, and many times residents share rooms with two or three roommates, which can be a change if someone's used to their own space. The place has a cottage-style look and tries to fit people's interests, with things like gospel music for those who enjoy it, and there are custom touches for comfort, plus nutritious meals every day that people say are high quality. The care team speaks English and people often say the staff act with compassion and pay attention to individual needs, and there's a dedicated administrator named Brock Stanger who oversees things. Brushy Creek Post Acute works closely with the St Francis Eastside emergency department in case anything happens, and while the place does offer a lot for healing and rehab, they're not taking new patients right now, so people might have to wait if they're hoping to move in. The website has more details about everything they offer.

Beautiful campus, but widespread neglect
I had a mixed, mostly worrying experience. The campus is beautiful, rooms spacious, and therapy teams and some nurses/CNAs can be excellent - staff I dealt with were caring and the food/cleanliness were often better than expected. But chronic understaffing, poor communication, long delays for meds and bathroom help, soiled diapers/poor hygiene, missed wound care, falls and premature, insurance-driven discharges were repeatedly issues; management was often unresponsive. I would only trust this place for a very short, closely supervised rehab stay - not for long-term, high-need, or dementia care without constant family oversight.
