    Friendly staff but inconsistent care

I'm torn: the staff and environment are lovely-friendly nurses (Steven and Shiloh went above and beyond), great food, music/wholesome TV, beautiful hair and nails, and pleasant residents-yet admin turnover (old admin quit; new admin Ashley) and reliance on temp nurses caused care gaps. My mom is on daily morphine and was sometimes not given fluids, causing dehydration; despite that, I would still recommend and would choose this place for her.

    About BeeHive Homes of Lehi

BeeHive Homes of Lehi sits in Lehi, Utah, and has been open since July 16, 1997, as part of the BeeHive Homes network, where folks will notice a strong aim toward creating a home-like place for seniors who need help each day while still wanting some independence, and with 20 beds in their medium-sized community, they've got private studio bedrooms set up with basic furnishings, telephone service, and access to emergency alert systems, all with daily housekeeping and laundry already included, so residents don't have to fuss over cleaning or chores. Staff stay on-site around the clock, and they're all trained for a good range of needs, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication management, and there's hands-on support for seniors with Alzheimer's or dementia through a special memory care program, including Board and Care Home options for those who need it. Food's cooked in-house, with chefs and meal planners focusing on nutritious, dietician-approved meals that respect allergies, diabetes, and other restrictions, and everyone eats together in a shared dining room with a friendly, family-like feel that really encourages people to sit and chat instead of eating alone. The grounds have walking paths, a garden, and indoor and outdoor areas where folks gather for activities like movie nights, arts, games, devotional events, and both resident-led and staff-sponsored activities, with a variety of choices on and off site, including transportation for important errands or trips out. They've got a barber and salon for when a little extra care is needed, a move-in coordinator who helps new folks get settled, and a 24-hour call system for emergencies, and they'll coordinate with outside health care providers so every resident's personal medical needs are kept up-to-date and in line with their wishes. Memory care, diabetic care, non-ambulatory care, and incontinence care are some of the more specialized options-BeeHive Homes likes to lay those out clearly so you know what's possible, and for families looking after their loved ones, respite care can take some weight off now and then. The place regularly hosts daily and group activities to keep people social and engaged, and residents often remark that the staff's helpful, joyful, and kind approach, as well as that focus on developing long-lasting relationships, helps maintain a warm setting that's often called "the next best place to home." You'll also find All Seasons Senior Living of Lehi assisted living services mentioned as part of their offerings, which means more resources and expert guidance for anyone needing advice about long-term care, and even though BeeHive Homes of Lehi isn't accredited by the BBB, it does hold an A+ rating, has a presence on Facebook, and usually scores a 6.4 out of 10 on most reviews, so families and seniors checking out options in the Lehi area can get a real sense for what to expect before making any decisions.
