    Warm staff, spotless modern facility

I'm extremely happy with this facility - the staff are warm, friendly, and truly attentive, providing individualized, top-notch care (they even searched for a missing afghan). The building is modern, spotless, well-ventilated and odor-free, with fresh flowers, a beautiful garden, snacks and an active social calendar (12 days of Christmas parties). Check-in was fast; rooms are shared (no private rooms) and it's pricey, but overall I'm very pleased - no complaints.

    About Canyonlands Care Center

Canyonlands Care Center sits in Moab, Utah, right at 390 Williams Way, and the facility has 36 rooms arranged around a courtyard and garden that's filled with flowers and gives a nice view of the mountains and redrock rim, and you'll notice the quiet air and comfort when you walk through the entrance, and it doesn't matter if someone needs short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, memory care, hospice services, or specialized therapy, because there's skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, wound care, mental health and general medical care all on hand, and the staff make a point to be respectful, kind, and knowledgeable with every person who comes to stay, and the place gets recognized for doing a lot of things right, from dignity and respect to cleanliness, safety, security, and fast response to issues, with 7 Customer Experience Awards and a 5 Star rating showing years of good care. The living spaces look comfortable and feel like home, with a kitchen, dining area, social activity rooms, and a big living room, and the meals always get high marks from residents, and there are flowers-residents can even make their own flower arrangements. The care plans get tailored to each person's needs, and there's support for disabilities and unique health conditions, and the care team makes sure to check in and listen if someone wants adjustments. Residents get to enjoy social activities, outings, and a range of programs from the Recreation Department, and they can go outdoors when they want, enjoying the fresh air or just sitting with friends in the garden or courtyard, and if someone needs extra help, there's support available at all hours of the day and night. There are also assisted living benefits, transitional rehab, and memory care specialties, which help if someone's dealing with memory issues like Alzheimer's. Canyonlands Care Center sits as part of the nonprofit community linked to the Utah Health Care Association, which means policies focus on care rather than profit, and you find a broad range of care types there, including assisted living, independent living, nursing homes, continuing care, respite care, and home care, making it more flexible for families and residents. Medicaid, VA, hospice, and private pay are all accepted, which helps more people get access. There are even some services that connect the place to children's programming with Discovery Kids Learning Center, so early education and preschool are tied into the bigger community, and the staff at the front desk always help everyone feel welcome and safe. All in all, residents get comprehensive care, regular access to doctors, internal medicine, psychiatry, and psychoanalysis, and there's a real emphasis on privacy, personalized care, and community engagement, so people can feel settled and know their needs come first.
