Midtown Manor sits over on South 900 West in Salt Lake City, and you'll find that it covers about every service you could need for older folks who want to live a little easier, and the community's big enough to help in different ways, with 82 beds for short-term rehab, long-term nursing, independent and assisted living, memory care, and home care, too, plus special spots for hospice and Alzheimer's residents, so you can get what you need all in one place if that's what your health or lifestyle calls for. The place keeps a full team of nurses around the clock, and the Medical Director keeps an eye on the care plans, while therapists help out if you need physical, occupational, or speech therapy, and staff work on shift schedules that the Nursa app helps to manage, which tries to keep things running smoothly. Midtown Manor says they like to make things feel home-like and safe, with an atmosphere that's friendly, and they do make an effort so folks aren't lonely, since staff run activity programs every day and plan social events for anyone living there. People who have Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia have a dedicated unit there, and staff receive training to handle behaviors and make the place secure, so there's less worry about wandering or confusion. Midtown Manor comes with all sorts of options - there are 55+ apartments, senior residential care homes, a skilled nursing wing, and even home care if you want help in your own place, and you'll also see people coming for post-acute care, transitional rehab, or if they've served in the military and need what's called veteran's home services. The kitchen aims for balanced and nutritious meals, and the building is set up with features for comfort and convenience, like modern amenities and a nice outdoor garden where you can sit or walk when you want some fresh air. Social service folks will help you with the paperwork that can get confusing, and there's help for Medicaid, Medicare, private pay, veterans, and hospice care, so it covers most ways somebody's health bills get paid these days, and with membership in the Utah Health Care Association, there are some extra benefits for people and facilities. Midtown Manor runs under Adams & Adams, and they mention ties to Medallion Manor, too, and there's a long-standing association with Caring, LLC. Staff get noticed for being helpful, kind, and making people feel welcome, so while nothing's perfect, people do seem to think Midtown Manor is reliable and steady for those looking for a place to live out their next chapter with the supports they need.

Moved mom after repeated problems
I had to move my mom after repeated problems - belongings (suitcase, wheelchair) mishandled, unresponsive/rehearsed staff, dirty linens and a fall - but I'll credit outstanding caregivers like Tara, Sindy and Skyler who were compassionate and kept her in good condition. Mixed experience: serious facility issues, but some amazing staff.
