    Personalized compassionate care, clean facility

I'm very pleased with the personalized, high-quality care here - the staff are friendly, compassionate, and go above and beyond, and the building is clean, beautiful, and homey; my mother is happy and well cared for. Food has good options though occasionally unappealing, and there are few activities - the activities director can be overly controlling - plus I worry sometimes about staffing ratios. Overall I highly recommend this facility for loved ones needing extra daily help.

    About Spring Oak at Louisa

Spring Oak at Louisa is a senior living community at 440 W. Main St, Louisa, where people can find assisted living, memory care, independent living, and home care under one roof in a single-story building, and there's a real focus on making sure each person gets a care plan that fits their needs and can adjust as those needs change, and residents can get help with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, medication, transportation, and more while still keeping as much independence as possible, which really matters to many families and the residents themselves. They offer apartments, including semi-private, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom choices, with kitchenettes, emergency response systems, accessible bathrooms, and individual climate control, and people can decorate their spaces however they want so it feels like home, and pets are allowed, which some really appreciate. Meals come three times a day with snacks, housekeeping and laundry are handled, and there's a beauty and barber shop on site, along with exercise programs, spacious indoor and outdoor common areas, garden spaces, and walking paths for those who like to get outdoors, and Wi-Fi is available throughout. They run activities, events, games, and craft sessions to help folks stay busy and connected, and there are devotional services for those who want them, while transportation is scheduled so people can get to appointments or local shops. For safety, each apartment has an emergency call system, and all spaces are fully accessible to anyone with disabilities. Memory care services are there for people living with dementia or Alzheimer's, and the staff is trained for discreet, respectful help, including incontinence care and medication supervision, which can make a big difference for comfort and dignity. There's also respite care, short-term stays, adult day care, hospice, nursing and rehab services, and home health support-so the care really covers a lot of ground depending on what folks need, and caregivers stay in touch with families and keep up with changes in health or memory. Smoking isn't allowed inside, but pets are okay, and there's a sense of trust and community among residents and staff, since they try to make everyone feel like they belong. Monthly costs start at about $5,900, and prices change depending on room and care level, with everything explained up front. There are special events like Taste & Tour Tuesdays running through the year, so people can come see for themselves and get a feel for the place. Spring Oak at Louisa has earned recognition, including a 4.5-star rating and praise for its food and dining, and it's part of the larger Spring Oak senior living network. Terra Brown is the Executive Director. For more facts or details, the community has a website at https://springoaklouisa.com/.
