    Small, clean, convenient, caring place

I toured and chose this small, very clean place — the director was kind and helpful and the location is convenient. It’s a top choice for personal care and can transition to more intensive care; my double room has two bathrooms with raised-toilet grab bars, a call button, and wheelchair ramps front and back. Staff work 12-hour shifts, there’s communal living and outdoor space, diapers/Ensure are provided, and it’s $3,500/month.

    About Victory Place

Victory Place sits right on Victory Boulevard in Burbank, California, and folks around here say it's a friendly spot for seniors who need different kinds of help, whether that's just a little or a lot, so there's assisted living, independent living, dementia care, memory care, and even hospice and respite stays for those who might need a shorter stay or extra support during rough patches. The place follows strict rules for safety and care, keeping a good caregiver-to-senior ratio the way the law asks, and there's always someone around to help, day or night, with managers and a service coordinator onsite if anything crops up. Caregivers here help with daily things like getting dressed, keeping up with medicine, bathing, or moving around, and there's a nurse around plus a doctor on call, along with specialists like podiatrists, dentists, and therapists who come by for folks that need them. People who live here can bring their small pets, and indoor and outdoor spots make it easy to get some fresh air or enjoy a walk, with garden spaces and furnished rooms, and the showers and walkways pay mind to wheelchairs. Meals come fresh and cover different diets, so you'll find everything from vegetarian options to plates for people living with diabetes, and they fix the meals right here and serve them in a dining room with other residents-plus help for folks who need it. Laundry, housekeeping, and linen service keep things easy, and there's someone to help guests coordinate moving in, too, and the community hosts activities pretty much every day both onsite and offsite to keep folks active and social, from walking paths and gardening to scheduled events and devotional hours, with staff who speak English, Spanish, and Filipino to make everyone comfortable. The community accepts both women and men, and they make room for all kinds of care needs, including memory and incontinence care, as well as higher levels of medical help, and the place keeps a secure Wander Guard system for those in memory care who might wander. They do their best to make life comfortable, clean, and safe, and residents get private rooms, some as studios or one-bedrooms, with plenty of little touches to feel at home, no smoking inside, and folks are welcome to use the salon or barber if they want. Victory Place offers transportation for a fee, or you can use parking if you drive, and the spot is near public transit for visitors. Everyone helps out to create a welcoming community where people can age with dignity and a bit of joy, which has earned the place a 4.0-star rating from reviewers, and while life here moves at a nice, steady pace, each resident gets the attention and care they need to stay comfortable and enjoy their days the way they want.
