    Welcoming community with minor issues

I toured Friends House and felt genuinely welcomed - the staff (Korina included) were friendly, generous with their time, and responsive. The park-like grounds, garden cottages, private gardens and nearby walking paths are lovely, and apartments are a good size. It's an active, inclusive community with music, crafts, good meals, shuttle service and solid medical care; transitions to skilled nursing were handled with care. A few people reported administrative/ deposit hiccups and the SNF can feel institutional, so I recommend an in-person tour and clarifying refund/reservation policies.
