    Warm community, excellent care, pricey

I toured Twin Lakes and moved my mom in - overall very positive. The staff are warm, caring and skilled; nurses, CNAs and therapists gave excellent, attentive care and knew residents by name. The campus is beautiful with lakes, green space, a pool, lots of activities and outings (mall, movies), and options from independent living to memory care. Dining and rehab services impressed, and there's a genuine family-oriented, belonging feel. Downsides: it's expensive (high buy-in and extra fees), and some residents report staff turnover, occasional communication or maintenance hiccups. For us the strong community and quality clinical care outweighed the cost.
