    Clean facility, caring staff, concerns

I toured this small, homely 21-room community and was impressed by how very clean and well-maintained everything is, the nicely decorated common areas, ongoing room renovations, lots of activities, and generally friendly, caring staff. The director was responsive and daily cleaning/housekeeping is available; no COVID cases reported. My major concern is management's follow-through - brochure-promised transportation wasn't provided (which led to an ER visit), insurance/move-in help fell through, and a few nurses seemed unconcerned. Meals seemed decent but are sometimes light with small portions and limited vegetables. I like the facility and staff but would recommend it with reservations until management improves.
