The Clinton Presbyterian Community sits on forty acres of park-like grounds with big old trees, right in Clinton, South Carolina, which is a college town that gives it a friendly, southern feel and makes it easy to connect with local schools. The community is non-profit and faith-based, run by Presbyterian Homes of SC, but anyone is welcome, no matter their religion. Seniors sixty-two or older live here in a range of options, including private cottages or patio homes, apartments with patio or balcony choices, and some have big closets, extra storage, or covered parking. The place has a main dining room, restaurant-style eating, private rooms for special meals, and chef-prepared dishes so folks get some choice with what they eat. There's a barber and beauty shop, a lounge, a library, and spaces for meetings or activities, and you'll also find a billiards room, a multi-purpose activities building, and lush, landscaped social areas. Living here means people get help with things like housekeeping, linen service, postal and banking needs, and cable TV, and there's a community pantry to grab food items as needed. The community offers assistance at different care levels, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and adult day care, with rehab and respite stays, too. Health and wellness support is available with a health clinic on-site, medication management, therapy coverage all week-in physical, occupational, and speech therapy-and wellness programs, exercise classes, and recreational trips to keep people active. Residents use local transportation for shopping, doctor visits, and outings, and there are scheduled social outings, book clubs, women's church groups, and field trips for anyone who wants to get involved. The site's handicap-friendly and follows accessibility rules, and people have round-the-clock access. Seniors who might have memory issues can get specialized support services as care needs change over time, and the community keeps things pretty quiet if you want, but there's always something going on if you do feel like joining in. Meals are available up to thirty a month, and dining can be private or with a group. The community has its own chapel and offers chaplaincy services, and folks often enjoy news, magazines, or just sitting outside on one of the shaded benches. Whether someone needs a little help or more support, wants to recover from a hospital stay, or just wants a safe, steady place to retire, The Clinton Presbyterian Community has several living and care choices all in the same spot, making life a bit simpler for seniors.

Kind staff, excellent care, recommended
I toured this campus with my family and ultimately moved my loved one here - the staff are consistently kind, knowledgeable and responsive, the place is exceptionally clean, the food is excellent, and PT/OT rehab was first-class with real results. The campus offers a range of living options (large apartments, cottages, townhomes), many activities, strong amenities like a gym/library/chapel, easy parking and a peaceful, well-maintained feel. The building is older but well cared for; I did notice some inattentive showings and recommend confirming in-building skilled/24-hour nursing if you need it. Overall, I'm very happy with the care and would recommend this community.
