    Welcoming community but lacks generator

I toured this newer, well-kept community and moved my mom in - staff (Jen and Ms. Paris especially) were welcoming, professional and very responsive, and the place feels safe with key-fob access and a friendly, upbeat atmosphere. Apartments are small but neat, each has a kitchen, utilities are included and activities are plentiful (bingo, piano, exercise classes, crafts, outings), with a simple application and short waitlist. There's no dining room or daily meal service (independent living), limited storage, no on-site physical therapy, and the location wasn't ideal for us. Biggest concern: no generator - repeated power outages left some residents cold and could be dangerous for those on oxygen. Overall I'd recommend it for an active, independent senior who values caring staff and community but not for someone needing daily medical support or reliable backup power.
