    Friendly community with maintenance concerns

I'm happy here - friendly, relaxed atmosphere with smiling staff, a great social life (weekly gatherings, monthly dinners, new friends), church next door, nice living space/kitchen and good room view, attractive decor, excellent laundry, and strong security that gives me peace of mind. Biggest issues: a maintenance backlog (stained/damaged floors, rotting back entrance, dripping AC, pests, unfinished "school house") and some activities removed; rent for a 2BR feels overpriced (> $700). New management says fixes are coming, so I would recommend it with those caveats.
