    Infested building neglectful unsafe noisy

I lived here briefly and had to move - honestly the worst place I've ever lived. My unit and the building were infested (bed bugs, roaches, spiders, mice), smelled bad, and had constant loud music and suspicious/illegal activity. Management was unhelpful and neglectful (slow to respond to falls, poor inspections/cleanup) and hit me with a $1,600 cleaning charge. Not recommended - I left for a safer neighborhood closer to family while awaiting Westview Towers.

    About Summit Towers

Summit Towers sits in Downtown Knoxville at 201 Locust Street, close to the interstate for easy access, and it's a pretty good option for adults aged 62 and better or for people who are handicapped or disabled, with a focus on both independent living and retirement care styles. The community has 277 one-bedroom apartment homes stacked inside a 145,425 square-foot multifamily property built back in 1980, and you'll find wide hallways with elevators, accessible designs, and security systems in place to help people get around and feel safe. People often notice the pet-friendly rules that let you bring a furry friend, and there's a spacious courtyard outside along with a pool area, a fire pit, and a spot for grilling with neighbors or family. Residents enjoy a mix of amenities like on-site laundry, fitness centers, communal rooms for socializing, and they say there's a cozy, friendly feel, with staff nearby if help's needed-for example there's a service coordinator and trained employees ready with both regular apartment management and extra support should you need it.

Summit Towers tries to cover the basics with maintenance-free living and an online site to check out floor plans, rent history, or neighborhood details, but there's no clear info listed about parking, internet, utilities, or outside extras. The building has structured programs with activities to keep folks active and involved, from social get-togethers to educational and entertainment events. There are tailored care programs for different needs, including some types of senior and retirement care, maybe even memory care, though details aren't spelled out. Facilities and services aim to help people keep their independence while offering regular support and comfort where needed. Common area amenities, accessibility features, and individual apartments all try to support daily life with as much ease and choice as possible. Information's available about occupancy, leasing, management, and even detailed reports if you're curious about history and building use, but when it comes to details on parking or utilities, Summit Towers doesn't add much. Still, people have found the location downtown and the mix of comforts like spacious apartments, pet acceptance, and helpful staff provide a straightforward, practical place to call home.
